The District Cup (TDC)is a premier annual charity polo tournament hosted on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., continuing a legacy of over 100 years of polo history in the nation’s capital. Founded with the mission to raise funds for educational and polo scholarship opportunities for underserved youth in the D.C. area, The District Cup brings together thousands of guests from all walks of life—including young professionals, diplomats, Members of Congress, and C-suite executives—to experience world-class polo at one of the most iconic venues in the world.
MISSION
TDC is committed to making the game of polo accessible to young people in the DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia) region. With over $200,000 donated to charity in the last six years, we aim to transform lives through sports. Our polo scholarships provide underprivileged youth with opportunities to engage in the sport, develop valuable skills, and excel both on and off the field.
Our Charitable Initiatives

The TDC Foundation also recognizes the transformative power of sports in shaping young peoples’ lives.
